Context

Many designers face the challenge of designer’s perfectionism, often leading to overwork, burnout, and self-doubt. As a designer, I wanted to create an experience that would resonate with creatives who constantly balance the drive for excellence with real-world constraints, encouraging reflection and providing practical strategies to manage these challenges.

Solution

Pixel Perfect is an interactive audio story that immerses users in the lives of four designers—Sol, Alex, Xavier, and Lotta—each handling unique struggles with client expectations, personal standards, and work boundaries. The story combines podcast-like narrative immersion with practical strategies like defining “good enough” and prioritizing tasks, making it both engaging and instructive.

Content screen with two questions and options: 'Why did Sol reassure the client quickly?' Options: 'Eager for a new project,' 'Wants to display confidence,' 'Wants to avoid discussion.' 'Why could Alex be concerned about the briefing?' Options: 'Wary of the challenge,' 'Avoiding unrealistic expectations,' 'Favors precision.' Chapter 3 of 7: Pixel Perfect.
